LED lamps are rated for 25,000 hours.
I wonder if LEDs are the future. They are getting to where they are really bright and like you said, they last a very long time. They also use very little power.
A few days ago, I bought a Black & Decker spotlight which says it is 1150 lumens. I think every flashlight I have bought for several years has an LED bulb. I was surprised the B&D light has a halogen bulb. I guess that is why it was pretty cheap.
Build quality does vary.

Perhaps the LEDs. But the electronics behind the LEDs still often have cheap Chinese capacitors, so they don’t last anything like that long.

That’s just under three years of continuous use. But how many of us leaves a light on for three years straight?
