....."Things have recently gotten even more curious. If a news organization with the resources to go to Wales and interview Mr. Davies wanted to do so in order to get some answers, they wouldnt find him at home. Hes in hiding. Just who would a charlatan opportunist, like the one hes being portrayed to be, want to hide from, Morley Safer?
Davies contacted his publisher, Simon & Schuster by email and informed then he was going dark, this past Friday morning. The message indicated that someone had threatened to harm his family if he continued to defend the truthfulness of his account of what happened in Benghazi. The email was sent prior to the announcement by Simon & Schuster to pull his books from the shelves. A copy of the email was obtained by The Daily Beast.
As a security expert, he probably recognized a credible threat. In the email Davies detailed how on the Morning of Sunday, November 3rd, at approximately 4 a.m., he received a hand-delivered note at his home in Wales. The note said simply, Stop talking now or your wife and son will disappear. Davies explained that, Due to this threat I will not discuss the book with anyone under any circumstances for the foreseeable future, I am not prepared to put my family in danger. I stand by my story, however I understand that it continues to be rubbished, which I expected. Davies indicated in the email that the local police took the threat to his family very seriously and that he was leaving his home and did not know when he would return."....

...."Davies continued, Having spoken with Damien this morning I have no problem with the book being taken off the market, I have no way of defending myself at present. My reputation has already been ruined in the media and I will never work in the security industry again, this was inevitable due to the sensitive nature of the book, however threatening to kill my family was not something I expected.
The email closed with, I will not be in touch again for a while, Im sorry for the trouble this book has caused.....
Are there no bounds, no limits this regime will go to, to cover up Benghazi? This all became an 'issue' when the FBI said he had told THEM a different story? then the retraction, loss of the book deal....now the man is hiding his family for their lives?

Sounds to me like the FBI and 60 Minutes are liars in cover your azz mode for this Administration.
I tend NOT to believe anything this Administration or it’s ilk wants me to believe. Everything that comes from them is a LIE, unless or until I am convinced otherwise. Don’t care if it’s on paper, on the tv, on the internet...there are few credible sources anymore. And isn’t that just what they want for Benghazi...more confusion and America to believe there are NO credible sources or witnesses but their own?
I’m just surprised the guy wasn’t murdered before he had a chance to go into hiding like Hastings.

I do not believe a single word of this story any more that I believed he singlehandedly broke into an al qaeda held hospital, or that he was confronted by attackers as he was climbing a 12 foot wall into the compound, spoke to the attackers, and was allowed to continue on his merry way. The whole davies attempt to make himself a Benghazi hero in the footsteps of Woods and Doherty is rotton fish.
This is a Threat Matrix list documenting threats within and without. Anyone wanting on or off please advise.

Exactly. The Administration has put a gag order on all witnesses. One comes out and NOW we find out what he may or may not have told the FBI? Its been over a year and still, we have no idea who was on the ground that night.
CIA Director Pledges to Make Benghazi Survivors Available to Talk
One year after the terrorist attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya, the survivors may finally begin to talk. Benghazi
In a three-page letter to the chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, Mike Rogers, CIA director John Brennan says that his agency will provide the relevant information to Rogers in order to facilitate meetings between CIA-affiliated personnel in Benghazi and congressional oversight committees. The offer of cooperation, dated September 3, 2013, comes as four committees of jurisdiction in the House of Representatives prepare to reinvigorate separate inquiries into the events of September 11, 2012, and their aftermath. In the next two weeks, the House Foreign Affairs, Armed Services, Government Oversight and Reform, and Intelligence Committees will all hold hearings looking into different aspects of the Benghazi attacks beginning with an Intelligence Committee hearing later this week on the lack of progress in the investigation and apprehension of the perpetrators of those attacks. 60 Minutes is planning to air its investigation into the Benghazi attacks later this fall.
In his letter to Rogers, Brennan responded to several specific questions the Intelligence Committee chairman had posed in a letter dated August 2, 2013, denying that CIA officers on the ground during the attacks had been subjected to polygraphs or required to sign non-disclosure agreements. He also denied that any CIA officers either staff or contractor had been told not to speak to Congress about the attacks or threatened with consequences for any such cooperation. To the best of my knowledge after inquiry, I am unaware of any officer who has been threatened with reprisals, Brennan wrote. Nor would I tolerate such behavior. To retaliate or threaten retaliation would be a violation of law.
So, the Administration knew back in September that 60 Minutes would be airing a story. And now Davies has to go into hiding?

The article in the above link was dated September 11, 2013. This one is dated September 10, 2013:
John Kerry tells Congress that he will not allow Benghazi survivors to testify
Sharyl Attkisson of CBS News tweeted today that "Secy Kerry tells congress he will not honor the request to make Benghazi survivors available for questioning."
The stonewalling of the Obama Administration on the Benghazi survivors is incredibly frustrating, but made worse by the complete lack of interest by the mainstream media. Kerry has faced the question of the Benghazi survivors on numerous occasions and has effectively dodged the issue at every turn.
In March, Secretary of State John Kerry was asked by Fox News correspondent James Rosen why nobody has heard from the Benghazi survivors. Kerry stumbled through the answer, saying
Well, I I mean, I can't tell you the answer to that.
Rosen pressed John Kerry on the issue by asking, Will we hear from them?
Kerry responded:
I can't tell you I don't know what the circumstances are of any requests to talk to them or not.
In April, Kerry was asked about the status of the Benghazi survivors again by Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of the House Foreign Affairs Committee as reported by RealClearPolitics.
Rohrabacher said,
We have made request after request...just to get the list of the names of the people who were evacuated from Benghazi and we haven't even gotten that...
John Kerry responded by saying in part,
I can promise you that if you're not getting something that you have evidence of or you think you ought to be getting, we'll work with you. And I will appoint somebody to work directly with you starting tomorrow, with you, Mr. Chairman, to have a review of anything you don't think you've gotten that you're supposed to get...we got a lot more important things to move on to and get done. [emphasis added]
The Examiner reached out to Rep. Dana Rohrabacher's office and spoke with former Communications Director, Tara Olivia Setmayer to inquire about Kerry's promise.
Setmeyer replied,
There has been no update specifically to our subcommittee since Kerry appointed his senior advisor to be the liaison. I can't speak for other committees.
The answer was frustrating, to say the least.
Just last week, John Kerry again diminished Benghazi during the House Foreign Affairs Committee Hearing to discuss whether America should intervene in Syria with military strikes. Rep. Jeff Duncan said that Benghazi, as well as other recent scandals plaguing the White House,
call into question the accountability of this administration, its commitment to the personnel on the ground, and the judgment that it uses when making these determinations.
Matthew Boyle of Breitbart reported that Kerry replied in part,
Were talking about people being killed by gas and you want to go talk about Benghazi and Fast and Furious.
Stunning quotes from other officials regarding the Benghazi survivors can be found at Tavern Keepers. The only clear thing about the survivors of the Benghazi terror attack is that government officials have been offering mixed messages about their whereabouts.
Secy Kerry tells congress he will not honor the request to make Benghazi survivors available for questioning.
Sharyl Attkisson (@SharylAttkisson) September 10, 2013
The survivors of the attack are not the only witnesses who have been held back from testifying. In July, the Examiner spoke with Dan Lamothe of the Marine Corps Times, who reported that the Pentagon admitted that an "administrative error" mistakenly classified Marine Col. George Bristol as "retired" and therefore unavailable to testify about his knowledge of the events surrounding the Benghazi terror attack in Libya last year.
Lamonthe exposed the story, which went mostly unreported in the mainstream media. It was his reporting that led to Bristol to testify in a closed door hearing. The results of that testimony are not easy to find, but UPI reported that Col. George Bristol "gave troops in Libya permission to respond" in Benghazi, despite it being widely reported that he gave a "stand down" order.
Again, the mainstream media was generally uninterested.
Lamonthe said,
"I think this stands as a good example of what a free press can do. The Pentagon said Col. Bristol was retired, but either didn't bother to check whether he was fully retired or didn't want to acknowledge he was still not a civilian. A simple records check with cooperative Marine officials showed he was not scheduled to hit the inactive service list until Aug. 1."
Sharyl Attkisson's shocking tweet should result in an immediate select committee on Benghazi, something that Twitter users have been demanding on a daily basis. H.Res. 36, sponsored by Rep. Frank Wolf, calls for a select committee "to investigate and report on the attack on the United States consulate in Benghazi, Libya."

This is especially alarming from Kerry, the man who was able to go on live TV in front of Congress to spew his own lies about Vietnam.....but survivors from an embassy attack? How can our media NOT be allowed to question them?

And isnt that just what they want for Benghazi...more confusionThey want an even more heavy fog of war. When ignoring it didn't work, they tried to sweep it under the rug. Then it was a gag order and "retiring" personnel. Now, it could be doctoring records. Whatever is going on, someone is very, very scared for the truth coming out.
