Since last week's feature "The Vikings" was definitely a guy flick, I'd thought I'd pick a chick flick for this week's feature. A lavish and goofy black comedy about a well-meaning jinx who keeps falling in love with and marrying poor men who become rich and then die leaving her even wealthier than ever before.

I always kinda liked that movie.
A weak spot for redheads and a young Shirley was pretty hot

Yep. She was appealing when she was young prior to her getting involved with all that New Age/reincarnation nonsense.
My favorites of hers are “The Aparment”, “Gambit” and “Around the World in 80 Days.”

Loved this farce. Particularly Gene Kelly as Pinky—who is reprising some of his “ham” roles from his musicals. This ham always loved playing the ham.

Yes! And a young Dick Van Dyke and her husband in Paris, the painter, that vignette always made me laugh with his elective brushes. I forget who played him
