Chthonic
Adjective, also chthonian

Ooo, that’s the one that creeped me out!
It happens. My FIL had a deviated septum, and he’s STILL chronically sniffling due to post nasal drip.
Surgery unsuccessful in his case too. Apparently, ANYTHING having to do with the sinus cavity is a massive crap shoot. Scarring, and a whole bunch of things can really take a toll on whether it works for you or not.
When making reference to The One, be sure to be extra-phlegmatic in pronouncing the first syllable ....
Keaton is a Pittsburgher.
I absolutely adore this one as well; and am a big fan of this as well. They both literally give me goosebumps - and that's not just for what an adorable 80s chick she was then.
should have known; Pittsburghers rock
Philipp Melanchthon, Martin Luther’s assistant in the Reformation, was born Philipp Schwartzerd. “Schwartzerd” is German for “Black earth.” Young Philipp was quite the scholar, adept in the classical languages, and it was fashionable at the time to adopt a Latinized or Graecicized surname. Which he did. “Melanchthon” thus is the Greek equivalent of the German “Schwartzerd,” i.e. “Black earth.”
She has an angelic voice, like no one else.
Amen
not bad with that fiddle either
She’s got a good sense of humor. As I sad she was ROR on the air, when the traffic girl threw back the feed, it was hilarious to see, she turned pink!
With MLR, you need pigtails and a plaid skirt lol.
Lol, another Teri Garr fan!
The All American Girl,
We may be the only two that consider Mr.Mom, a porn film.... Lmao
I was just thinking the other day of the movie “After Hours” for some reason. Teri Garr played the lady making the plaster of Paris bagels.
She used to play really flirty with David Letterman on his show, too.
He had her take a shower on the show once!
Oh, yeah, she was hot and heavy with Letterman, on the show. It’s hilarious, it’s like we share the same pop culture catalogue.
After Hours was a cool, bizarre movie.
Well, we are about the same age, I think, and grew up in similar circumstances.
After Hours just keeps the bizarre rolling along. Great cast, no lulls.
