I saw him present an award, I was channel surfing, it may have been the oscars. He was “on-stage” with that stupid bear he was in a movie with. Some remarks had to do with offending peoople and Wahlberg said “I am a Roman Catholic” . He may be more of a closet conservative than we think. I thought it odd at the time that he would say Roman Catholic and not just Catholic. Or why bring religion into it at all. I have read he is a loyal husband and father and don’t many people get more conservative as they grow older? Let’s cut him some slack.

Bingo I always thought he is a closet conservative. Remember Mark in his younger days had a reputation as a bad boy. But now, when his girlfriend got pregnant he got married and now I believe they have 2 kids. He has settle down a lot. Your right I think as he is growing older he is becoming more conservative. I believe he stated he is Pro Life also. I say good for him.

Wahlberg contributed to the Presidential campaigns of Obama in both ‘08 and ‘12. How much “slack” do you cut to stupid like that?

I don’t cut any “slack” to the people I know personally who did that. I make them remember their stupidity every chance I get and I don’t care if they get upset. They need to learn.
