Incompetent bosses are awful, no matter their sex.
...but I do feel that incompetent men are less obnoxious than incompetent women.
I have two terrible bosses right now, the woman is very brittle and on edge, making it very hard to deal with her. She has to prove she’s the boss, even if it means we do things that don’t make sense.
The man is more of, “I know I’ve been promoted too far, but as long as you work with me, I won’t make life too hard for you.” He knows I know what to do and gives me some latitude even if it isn’t what he wanted to do.
