Feinstein joins push to keep health plans

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) said Tuesday that she will co-sponsor a bill by Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) to require insurance companies to continue offering their existing health care plans — a way to make good on President Barack Obama’s promise that consumers can keep their current coverage if they like it.

Also, the White House is discussing what to do if the Nov. 30 deadline is not reached. The options reportedly on the table include extending the open enrollment period, which is strongly opposed by the insurance industry, and raising the income maximums for qualifying for government subsidies to buy coverage.

It is truly enjoyable to watch Democrats getting their knickers in a twist over the law they have passed and defended these last few years. Even Pelosi has been remarkably quiet the last few days.

People are reading the law now, Pelosi, you ignorant slut, and you’re finally starting to see the destruction you idiots have wrought.

Every single Democrat should go straight to hell for this! I think they’re starting to get a taste of it now.

  Yes - this is so bad, we're going to have to find another word for failure. Words like failure, train wreck and disaster just aren't good enough. Calling it a steaming pile of cow manure isn't good enough either because cow manure is actually useful. Even a train wreck is limited in the number of people it kills. Sadly, this has the potential to kill vast numbers of people while leaving even more destitute.
