Forgot in my litany of old bikes: an ancient Honda 305, and a Harley 1000 Sportster. Sportster might not have been but for oil leaks that the several Japanese bikes had made me intolerant of, and the cheesy front drum brake that disc brakes had also spoiled me for.
Nice, dude. Have you been to the Triumph factory in Georgia? The British guy who owned Triumph settled in America after marrying a Southerner. There was an article on Forbes years ago and the dude loves the Southern lifestyle. Said there’s no way business-wise to build them in the UK even if he wanted to.
Years ago when the neighborhood dogs (7 total) would start to irritate me I would fire up the old ‘68 “TR6R” with bobber frame and drag pipes. It was the loudest thing I’ve ever heard in my life and must have scared the daylights out of the dogs, never heard a whimper from them for a couple hours, LOL.
Gosh, this means there’s still hope I might get my 51 Buick Special that went AWOL in 1968 back!
Hmmmm...no oil puddles....
Give ‘em time, bro....just give ‘em time.....I had just set them there for a photo shoot......
Actually, they drip little to none on the center stands, but a lot on sidestands........gear bushing out of tranny box to sprocket.....
