I forgot about "Girl/Tattoo".
Well, "Anno 1790" wasn't all that innocent. Then again, "Annika Bengtzon" is quite fanciful to portray a reporter, let alone a dino print reporter, out after the "truth".
"Irene Huss" is probably closer to reality, as is [the UK's] "Wallander".
Then there's "Beck".
The most common element that comes across about Sweden is that it's a fairly dreary place, weather-wise. When they have a nice day, is it akin to "the fish are biting" and everybody takes off work, so no cameramen are around to film gorgeous days?
Well, that, and the abuse of Latvians and Finns...
For N. Europe, if you can stand the cold and the snow, I find it quite agreeable. More sunshine than I had ever anticipated. I had lived in N. Germany prior to that, NOW THAT is dreary and grey. Two years of that and I was ready for suicide watch. (: Ofcourse winter is near 20 hours of darkness in both places but I kinda really liked that also. I don’t know if I could do it, year after year or if it was my reality but for the short times I did it, I enjoyed it.
