Just as an fyi......I got a qwerty keyboard for my iPad mini. It magnet clips to the side and folds over the screen like a case when not in use. It has a slot in it to stand up(vertical or horizontal) and connects via bluetooth. The battery life on the keyboard is impressive.
It folds right up and slides into the case/pouch I bought for it.
The smaller keyboard takes a little getting used to, but overall - I like it.
