Why? Verizon offers iPhones. . . and you can have a reasonable shared rate plan for your family.
Verizon’s coverage drops off where I spend most of my work hours.
That is why I’m hosed on smart phones. I’m stuck in TracFone land unless I wanna pay monopoly pricing. As best as I can tell, it looks like I’ll have to pay about $110/month before any non-listed costs, like taxes. That’s for a plan that I could use effectively. I HAVE to have a phone, I’d LIKE to have a smart phone, I don’t NEED a smart phone, I just want. It’s not necessary, therefore $110 per month is ridiculous. Realistically, adding up the costs, I’m expecting it to go beyond $125.
I’m astonished at how people around here can have four and five smartphones in a single family.
How would T-Mobile do for you? They offer iPhones off contract but you can buy the phone for about $22 a month. Everything plan is about $90 a month for three people. Then add three iPhones at $22/month. Comes to about $180/month after tax and license...
I also know a cool way that you can get SPRINT with three iPhones under a plan that one of the company’s VPs allows general public to use employee rates... comes to $171 for three iPhones unlimited. Same coverage area as T-Mobile.
