Not always. The movie “Jaws” was better than the book. For example, it cut out the extraneous crap like the fling between the sheriff’s wife and the ichthyologist, which added nothing to the story.

so you are crying fowl in a fish story or maybe there are better fish to try but maybe the sherfs devotion to his job hunting a man eater was better than a cold fish at home

or maybe i am READING too much in to it
