They could have cleaned up the place with a little DDT.

***it cut out the extraneous crap like the fling***
With books like this I often wonder if the author is getting paid by the word.

Sister Bluebird flying high above,
Shine your wings forward to the sun.
Hide the myst'ries of life on your way.
Though you've seen them, please don't say a word.
What you don't know, I have never heard. Starship Trooper, go sailing on by,
Catch my soul, catch the very night.
Hide the moment from my eager eyes.
Though you've seen them, please don't tell a soul.
What you can't see, can't be very whole.
Sorry... wrong one.

the flingso you are crying fowl in a fish story or maybe there are better fish to try but maybe the sherfs devotion to his job hunting a man eater was better than a cold fish at home
or maybe i am READING too much in to it

LOL...when your beloved home planet is being taken over by giant cockroaches, you have a right, a duty, an obligation to be a “right-wing-militant”.
hahaha
And I use the term “cockroaches” as an analogy.
To: bigheadfred
With the exception of “Jaws.” The book had a patently ridiculous ending and Spielberg improved it by leaps and bounds. The affair Hooper had with Chief Brody’s wife was.... Just stupid.

They made the wrong book into a movie. They should have done “The Moon is a Harsh Mistress”.
To: left that other site
And I use the term cockroaches as an analogy.good thing or it would be just another day at the racists

Maybe they’ll make it someday. Sci-fi is doing rather well right now. Hunger Games, LOTR, The Hobbit, Ender’s Game, etc.
