That said, when a kid goes screaming off in a truck and trailer and is causing lethal danger to others the cops have my blessing to stop the idiot by any means necessary to avoid harm to others and themselves ... ... which they could have done very simply by ending their pursuit. They'd have avoided harm to others and themselves by letting the stupid kid go and catching up to him later. THEY are the ones who endangered lives and ultimately, took one in pure waste.
