Perhaps. But the environment of a NFL team's locker room and the majority of denizens who inhabit it can hardly be considered a representative slice of normal society. Really.

Yeh no kidding. I lived in Miami for many years. One of my best friends was best friends with a Miami player. We used to all go meet him at the locker room after the games and then walk out of the tunnel and go party afterward at their house where a lot of players would attend. It did not take me long to get totally sick of it. There were a few normal guys on the team but most were a bunch of animals. Looks like things haven’t changed just gotten worse.
