I’ve read a lot about WW2 and Patton this year.
I suspect in 2013 he would never be accepted to West Point.

That pic was after Operation Torch, of course. Patton didn't receive his 3rd Star until the next March, 1943.

By then, Eisenhower had his 4th as a full General.
