xshub is attending the SU-Maryland football game tomorrow and will be tailgating with his message board compatriots for the first time [he graciously invited me and i just as graciously declined as i do not want to be tied up all day there]. He was assigned a dessert item to bring, and so i thought oh i will make him a few nice apple pies etc. NO. he wants storebought sugar cookies, with orange icing and the S from the SU logo, and i was in charge of procuring those. I figured rather than safeway i would call Wegmans and they needed 24 hours notice, so luckily i called at 8:30 AM and they can be done. i had to send them a pic of the logo for them to see the block style of the S and the colors. While wegmans is an upstate NY store, their VA employees are not all versed in the SU.

as a relatively new doglover, you will appreciate this. xshub always claimed to dislike dogs and tried to act like he wasn’t a fan of our’s either, but with Chan’s near death experience two weeks ago, and him staying up bawling along with me, he can no longer get away with saying that. Today he called me on the house phone at 6:30 am, bc he rang my cell twice and even though it was charging right behind me on the kitchen counter, i had it on silent and it didn’t even vibrate. he was concerned that i wasn’t answering bc something had happened to chanel.
