In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of Word for the Day.
Gelid, Adjective
gelidness - Noun; gelidly - Adverb
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....

Thanks very much. I can’t believe how blessed we have been.
Those will be cute!
Haha - yeah imagine me allowing a dog on my furniture..... I must have been possessed or something
Oh I bet that did feel good! I think I will get a smack down ready for the stories that they are not supporting Tea Party candidates
That 9 year old will be 20 before you know it. The grandkids grow up even faster than their parents.
How would you like to see THAT coming at you naked! Lmao!
I just can’t take it anymore.
My MiL sends checks to all those orgs, and they still call begging.
Tea Party Patriots.
Heritage.
RNC,
And in the month leading up to an election, the ph. Never stops. As soon as I see a DC area code i pick up and hangup. Despite repeated requests, they dont stop calling.
Ha, Max spies the street from the couch. Parks on the sunroom couch, where I sit to watch TV. Sleeps on the Bed. And....get ready...,,Has his own high chair at the dinner table! Somebody pick up XS’s eyes when they roll out of her head
Of course, Max weighs under 10lbs.
Well my daughter’s dog - not ours - is afraid of storms so we babysit him when it is raining.....I actually think he isn’t afraid at all, but smarter than us all
Dogs have a way of training humans ;-)
As long as we don’t eat poop, we’re still ahead of dogs. ;-)
We still have to pick it up!
Precisely.
I saw that Joe Bonamassa is coming to Nashville in April but tickets start at $81. Can’t do that. Maybe we’ll go downtown that night and see if anyone is trying to unload a pair at a deeply discounted rate.
Rme. If Stub hub isn’t more suitable, a PPV, and a great bottle of wine, is a better value! ( and no driving!)
