I do the same at convenience stores. If it totals $6.66 i add another item. Its happened a few times.

Actually,there’s a social security procedure to give back a dollar to the Treasury of your check,if your monthly check amount is 666.00.

Heh heh... to each their own comfort zone. A bill like that could be paid with two $3.33 checks.

Over 30 years ago I was a cashier at Target, and was ringing up a customer; when the bill came up for $6.66 she turned white as sheet and ran away.

Seemed like a bit of an extreme reaction, to say the least!
