But the really odd thing is that I thought I was a left-leaning Democrat when I first came to Maryland...then some left-leaning Maryland Democrats set me straight on that.

LOL! My birth state is going down the dumper. Just hatched there, never lived there. One state down several times as a youngster. Service brat so no place was “home”.
