Congratulations. I am apparently a racist, extermist, right wing nut job, conservative pos. Welcome to the dark side. LOL!
I am a straight, married, employed, white American father. I am The Root Cause of all of the world’s ills.
:(
Oh my GOD! YOU’RE an extremist TOO?! This is provident! I felt so alone in the world. Now I have company.
If a man speaks in the woods and a woman is not present is he still wrong?
I’m anti eating feces so I guys I’m anti-gay.
I wouldn’t worry about words like extremist.
She asked a question. How to get libertines and Tea Partiers to vote for the Republican candidate.
You seem in a great position to answer and patiently provide wisdom and guidance.
I actually know this douchebag (a neighbor of a relative) who is a total liberal in virtually ALL his positions, but he's also a complete racist. Since he's a racist, he thinks he's a conservative, because that's what his television told him racists are.
Can’t understand the Post without knowing who the candidate was.
Don’t bother, the Republican Women’s group is mostly a waste of time, kind of like any other Women’s club. I used to belong and I just gave up after trying to talk to some of the women.
One afternoon, during lunch the women were discussing the opening of Trader Joe’s in the town and this one woman was just raving about and finished up by saying, “ and everything they sell is free traded.” I just shook my head and asked, “and you think that is a good thing?”
Stop shoving socialist RINOs down our throats?
ME TOO
I have a bumper sticker on my truck that says, “EXTREMELY RIGHT WING EXTREMIST”.
I am proud of being one... George Washington was one.
Man, there’s an easy answer to her question.
“To get Tea Party votes, candidates need to take extreme positions, like being in favor of fiscal sanity, personal responsibility, low taxes and limited govt and outlining how they would head in that direction.”
Then you say, “Too extreme for you?”
“one women asks the question how do we - Republicans - get extremists such as Tea Party people and Libertarians to vote for Republicans”
Often those people are the candidate’s plants. The candidate obviously supports the eGOP and not conservatives. The majority of the people asking questions are pre-selected by the eGOP organizers. A good thing to do is get a list of the party operatives - people that volunteer and are often seen at the local HQ - and notice that they are the ones selected to ask these questions. Then, go to the next meeting for this candidate and notice maybe different people are there but he exact same questions are asked and the same answers given.
The grass roots Tea Party got started as a movement to reduce taxes, government spending and the debt. I have never signed up as one of the various Tea Party members so to me that is the basic party platform. There is nothing extremist about it.
From that point on people who feel they are Tea Party people have a variety of opinions on the different issues. I laugh when the media or democrats define me as being this that or the other. I know other people who define themselves as Tea Party and we disagree on various issues but we adhere to the basic too much government platform. If that is extremism, I'm also an extremist.
“So - since I have been to a couple Tea Party rallies and support what the Tea Party is doing - I am now an extremist.”
In Maryland? Yeah, you probably are an extremist, even to Republicans there.
Can you please share who the candidate was? I’m still deciding who I want to support.
Used to introduce myself that way at parent-teacher nights and other public school functions.
Hello, there! I’m your Friendly Neighborhood Right-Wing Extremist!
As in most things, the Libs there did not demonstrate a sense of humor.
She said that? What kind of TEA Party extremist opposes Common Core?
