Try not to get your hopes up -- every election, people on here start the "i'm in a dem district, very light turnout/i'm in a conservative district, crazy turnout!" game.

Then the dem wins. We've been left heartbroken too many times for me to get my hopes up.

Believe me, I'm hoping and praying that Cuccinelli pulls this off -- i'm not in VA, but if you are then vote and drag any other conservatives you know to the polls with you. But remember, all we can do is wait and see.

That is why I always vote at the same time: polls open at 6 and I vote at 7. In 2008 there were near 175 people in line, it took 35 mins to vote and I estimate I was the 375th person to vote... Today there were 6 voters there when I arrived.

This is a long time dem stronghold; my state senator, salsas, has held the seat since 1980
