I attended a similar webinar of his last month and was astounded by how much I didn't know about water safety and purification. About 40 minutes will be spent talking about different methods of purifying water, their pros and cons, and at the end, he'll explain how his survival still works. The information is free and the bit about his product is just a few minutes long.

Even if you don’t own a distiller, it is a very easy process that could be done by nearly anyone with scrounged equipment. One thing that would be handy to research is a process called “fractional distillation”. Basically, you don’t want to just boil the water completely off and collect all the steam, because then you are collecting some contaminants as well. You need to monitor the temperature in the boiler, and only collect the vapor that is produced when the temperature is at 100 degrees celsius. Any vapor coming off at below or above 100 degrees is not water vapor, so you don’t want it.
Be aware that distilled water has no minerals at all. It is like a sponge, it sucks minerals out of your system and, if it is your only source of water, drinking only distilled water will make you very ill or kill you via weakening your system. So, distilled water is great for the short term but the promoters should tell the whole story.
Thanks!
I am all for distillation pots or collumns for capturing safe drinking water.
In fact the rig has multiple uses. The rig can be used to capture very drinkable grain or fruit spirits @ 180’F in the vent stream.

Yes. Not many pathogens can survive in bourbon...
...oops - wrong type of “distillation”.
