An Augusta, GA mother is now banned from her disabled daughters school simply because she posted a picture of her weapons permit on Facebook.
The reason for this no trespassing order sent from the school is simply ridiculous. Simply because the woman served her country in the Army and now has a weapons permit, the principal sees her as a danger and threat to the school.
According to WRDW, I feel like a criminal. I want I want to be heard. I want a public apology, says Mount. On Wednesday, Mount says she was handed a notice from Richmond County Board of Education police.
He tells me that were going to issue you a criminal trespass warning, says Mount. The notice banned her from McBean Elementary School where her disabled daughter attends.
She asked what she did wrong. The principal is scared of you and she doesnt want you on the grounds. I ask for what? And he asks were you in the Army and I said yes. Hes like do you have a concealed weapons permit? I said yes, says Mount. Mount who is a parent volunteer says she is banned from the school for posting a picture of her new concealed weapons permit on her Facebook page.

You’re behind the lines...understandable
Sounds like a “her”, but yes. These hoplophobes need to be forced to pay personally, not taxpayers.
Veterans are at the top of Homeland Securities terrorist watch list along with Catholics, fundamentalist Christians and Tea Party members, all supposedly dangerous radicals.
All of those listed ARE dangerous to the Left’s dream of an Orwellian Utopia where THEY make the rules.
One thing we must never forget about Teachers and Principles. They have all gone to a liberal college and been brainwashed. Their minds have been disfigured for two or more years by experts in liberalism and communism.
It is a sin to send a child with a young mind into these nests of Socialism to be fodder for the Professors who are instilling in our youth the tripe that is destroying America.
Well, the principal is an idiot. But the mother is stupid for advertising that she has a CCW permit. Why does she have to let everyone know?
Do you have "facebook friends"? Do you have any way of stopping them from posting info about you on THEIR pages? Like your buddy posting a pic of you and him at the range?
Why should they be worried about getting sued? It’s not their money. Sue all you want, they’ll just tax more.
The weapons permit is the reason, but they made the mistake of asking about her Army service, too.
Hmm, shame it doesn’t provide an email address for the school. I’d like to ask the principal how his/her diaper feels.
If the GW of the new revolution`s orders were to burn out every liberal cesspool, in the AM gay bars and public schools would be coals and ashes. Hard to tell which would make them cry the most.
Until taxpayers pass laws making bureaucrats personally liable for their actions, then the taxpayers need to get soaked, to higher degrees and more frequently. Do you think more than one or two taxpayers gives a sh*t about what one of their employees did to that woman in their name? I doubt it. But hand all the Sally Soccer Moms notice that all of her kids' extra curriculars are being canceled and her taxes are doubling because some fat broad with a PhD in education at the elementary school across town got drunk on power, then they care. If they won't make those people accountable, they deserve to get hosed.
Facebook is a government-monitored, possibly government-sponsored and controlled, information mining operation. It should be avoided like the plague.
With that said, I think this woman should force the issue by ignoring the order. If she needs to visit her child’s school for some reason she should do so.
Ummmmmmmmm...
Are you SURE he's paranoid schizophrenic?
Yes. “Certain groups”.
Like the Department of Homeland Security, for example.
Janina...
is there a government agency that isn’t armed these days?
Excellent post.
The county is whining about having to lay people off, now...
