Women are bitchy by nature. No, that’s not a sexist remark. That’s science. Or at least that’s what University of Ottawa psychologist Tracy Vaillancourt more or less concludes in her latest research on “intrasexual competition” among women.

Most boys research the same topic and pretty much reach the same conclusion sometime in kindergarten if not earlier through the valuable educational adjunct of a big sister at home. The actual term used is more likely to be something like "cooties" than "bitchy", but this is quibbling.

The University of Ottawa might want to look into awarding all those boys through the millenia an honorary doctorate in psychology. Professor Vaillancourt should also ask the boys currently in middle school for the findings from their advanced research on how a woman's attractiveness can make the "bitchy" thing kind of beside the point.

This is a bunch of nonsence - that is, the blanket condemnation of all women for the actions of some of the group.

Yes, there are women who are nasty, jealous, and competitive when it comes to dating and “catching” a man. But that doesn’t mean that all women are like that. In fact, if I was in contact with any woman like that, I would run in the opposite direction. Who needs to be in the company of such wickedness? Men should avoid these creatures by any means possible. They would be terrible spouses.

I’ve watched this happen first hand. I work with a woman who is “besties” with a woman I want to be with. It’s stunning watching her try to undermine me both at work and with her friend.
