I am watching for changes in the generic ballot number. Will they make the connection between Obamacare's impact on them personally and the GOP shutdown? Given that political affiliation has become a substitute for religion, I'm not sure that the lesson will take. Liberals are religious zealots for whom the comment sections in the liberal media and sites like DU and HuffPo give them the chance to have prayer meetings to reinforce their faith every minute of every day. Liberal religiosity pervades their lives in a way Church leaders can only dream of doing with the Christian faith. And nobody calls liberal zealots religious kooks despite their all-consuming faith and imperviousness to either logic or empirical evidence on matters unrelated to the Hereafter.
The RINO’s will save their arses, just you wait.
I put on my biohazard suit and waded over to DU a day or so ago, and it looked to me like most of them were dutifully trotting out the memes that “the insurance companies have been giving shoddy coverage for years” and that it was “great that ObeyMeCare was forcing them to provide good policies.” We shouldn’t complain that “better coverage might cost a bit more.”
