I tried the new twinkies and for some reason they tasted much better than the old.
Maybe it's because I was hungry. Did they change the recipe?

I’ve compared the contents label of the boxes- old-vs-new and there are different ingredients. The spongecake has been made denser and vitamins have been added that affect the taste. The overall product is not as light and airy as the old version. It’s chewier ‘spongecake’. So yes, the recipe has been changed a bit.

Thats because they were new........the other ones are aged for several years in warehouses and old garages before they hit the store shelves.
