I have that same razor handle and love it. I had been buying the Wilkinson Sword blades at Walmart for $1.75/10, but they stopped carrying them. At least Fred Meyer has “Kroger” branded blades, but they are about a dollar more per 10 pack. Still a cheap shave at one blade a week.

I’ve found the glycerin shaving soap lathers up really nice, too.

I’ve considered the less expensive blades like Wilkenson or from a drug store. I’ll have to give it a try. They are likely made by a name-brand manufacturer anyway.

I’ve been using the Proraso shave soap (in the bowl) with a badger brush. That is wonderful stuff. It’s made the old fashioned way and feels great going on. The stuff in a can feels like floor polish compared to Proraso.

I heard of a lady that swallowed a Wilkinson Sword razor blade. She gave herself a tonsillectomy, hysterectomy, an appendectomy, gave her husband a vasectomy, cut the finger of a casual friend and still got seven good shaves.
