Good morning!
The libs use the zeitgeber of the sun coming up in the morning. That induces an immediate response to raise taxes.
THe lengthening darkness each day is a zeitgeber that hints that it is going to be time to change the clocks soon.
It’s not raining. That’s good.
Other than that, the Steelers are involved in another record-setting performance (giving up the longest run by a QB in the NFL ever), Pitt loses to Navy on a last-second field goal, Penn State suffers its worst beating since 99. 1899.
And my Jayhawks get clobbered by their rival to finish 4-5, their first losing season since 1993 and only second in my lifetime.
They, too, will be memorable for being in a 3rd-and-75 situation.
But, it’s not raining.
And it won’t rain for a while, if you get your weather from here.
Actually, it’s supposed to rain Halloween night. Just not sure how early it will come in.

At least the Penguins snapped their 3 game losing streak.
oh the penguinos will be fine, i’m sure. i just finished talking Pgh sports with Sean in my ofc. There are three of us from the Burgh in this ofc which is pretty amazing.

It’s sad to have to look to hockey in October for a glimmer of hope.
At least Sunday’s Steeler game wasn’t all bad, since I could root for my boy Pryor as Oakland’s QB.
well that’s what Sean said, that he can’t get excited about hockey until football is over, and that it’s hard this year bc the Steelers are sucking.

Sorry - it is tough losing
That’s exactly how I am. I start really following hockey in Jan or Feb. Just like the Bible says.
Morning to yourself. Yeah, it’s not good for the psyche or productivity.
Those kids at Missouri sure had some hangdog faces Saturday night.
