Of course, and OJ obviously got away with the murder of two people. But this is a list for the top performers in the Rose Bowl, not a list of Rose Bowl players who have lived their lives without brutally murdering other people.

Simpson played in the Rose Bowl twice, was named Player of the Game in 1968 and gained over 170 yards in the Rose Bowl the following year - a record at the time. Pretending that he didn't do these things is like pretending that Jesse James and Billy the Kid weren't two of the most famous names of the Old West because both were murderers.
