One more reason to love Doris Day. I sure don’t blame her for withdrawing from this cesspool of a world to the company of animals. What “terrible twilight”?

When we watch a movie, That Touch of Mink is nearly always in the top five.

Strange title for that article. Sure, getting old sucks, but she seems to he handling it as well as anyone could. I wish her all the best.

Terrible twilight?

Doris had a wonderful, magical life.
She was once the biggest star in the world.
Pretty, talented comedienne and dramatic actress, wonderful singer..loved the world over.
No ‘star’ today can lay claim to that.

I admire her for choosing to retire early and have us remember her as she was in her heyday- instead of hanging around for crumbs looking like a drag queen, a parody of themselves.

For God’s sake leave the lady alone. She’s in her nineties!
