Because his world view colors everything that comes out of his mouth. It matters!
Only if he gets to pick what he reports on. I don’t know the rules at a cable network, I just assumed he reads what he’s told to.
How he reads them is what makes him seem a little fruity, and why I normally won’t watch him, but that’s a business decision by Faux News. Its their money.
Many years ago I emailed Shep Smith at Fox to complain his overuse of "militants" when the acts described were terrorist. There was some back and forth; snippy was coming at me and the final swing of the purse used actual italics, "Well, who are you?"
In the interim decade the "in for Shep Smith, I'm Molly Mark" has come with great frequency on Friday or Monday.
Shep loves his three-day weekends--fine.
It's the occasional lapse into saccharine and glutinous (Christopher Hitchens all rights reserved) liberal innuendo that's a bit much.
The militants vs terrorists debate will paralyze response to the Islamofascist tidal wave, and Shep really needs to Google for homosexual impalement to get in focus.
UK is gagged, ditto Canada. Is Rome to fall because of Shep Satyricon language pollution?
Not homophobic--just paying attention.
