It's up to Him to judge the soul and its eternal destination, certainly. But the Bible has quite a few references instructing us to make righteous judgements.

Think about it. How can a Christian function if he or she is too timid to judge between right and wrong?

I judge most people, every day, all the time. I know exactly what I think about rapists, pedophiles, the president...

But as someone who tries to live their life in a way that makes God happy he bothered to make me, I don’t think I need to be attacking other people who haven’t given me a reason to attack them.
