Well, I saw an ad last night for Indian Chief motorcycles. Who’s po’d about that? Not in the mainstream enough? Kansas City Chiefs? Pontiac Chief? Are beer makers offended by the Brewers? This is really getting out of hand.

Dallas must be insulting Cowboys, Tampa insults Pirates (as does Pittsburgh in baseball), Atlanta Braves, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Blackhawks, Iowa Hawkeyes, Notre Dame’s drunk Irishmen, KC Chiefs, Florida State Seminoles, ...the list is practically endless.
But the outrage is reserved, to be used one team at a time. Bully the Redskins into a name change...go after the Cleveland Indians next. One at a time...much more successful than being outraged at all of them, simultaneously.
