For those interested, here’s a break down (no pun intended) of the Air Koryo fleet:

Looks like almost half their fleet is the An-24 “Coke”. Pretty decent military transport for it’s time, IIRC (built in the 1950s), but I’m thinking not exactly a particular enjoyable plane for commercial passenger transport in 2013.

In 2012, the carrier also launched its new travel package via Juche Travel Services, "aviation enthusiast" tours which offered the chance to fly on every variety of Air Koryo aircraft within North Korea on board the Il-76, Mil-17, An-24, Tu-134 and Tu-154. The international services were operated by inbound and outbound Tu-204 or Il-62.

Even Mike Rowe wouldn't risk his life on this tour ...
