JFK forever ruined politics in this country, because after him, it all became about “style over substance”....It didn’t matter where you were on the issues, all that mattered was how good you looked on TV. He became the prototype for what low-information voters look for in a candidate.

To quote Ronald Reagan on just what you said, (and on the man that NKP_Vet tried to tells us was "One of Reagan’s political heroes") from the letter when Reagan sought to serve the conservative opponent of JFK to keep JFK from ever becoming president and destroying America.
