I don’t expect her to leave. While she might make a good scape goat for Obama, he does not want to deal with confirmation hearings drawing more light to this. The path of least resistance will probably be to blame a contractor even though apparently no one single contractor was in charge of this project.
Just what I was going to write. Any confirmation hearing opens up a can of worms! Plus serving cabinet secretaries have much more legal protection than ex-secretaries. So, no resignation, no firing.
Just remember this is the most transparent and ethical administration in history. It says so right on the label, just below “Union Made” and “You didn’t build this!” (If the latter refers to this mess, why are they trying so hard to blame everyone else for it?)
