“Your ad hominem attack belies the absence of any cogent argument. Thats a bad habit of yours, characterized by your screen name.”
Notice, though, that you can’t demonstrate anything wrong with my argument, even if you tried. It’s just that you disagree with it, so all of a sudden it’s an “ad hominem.”
That’s why Christians don’t accept Mormons as Christians, and why your own religion has, since its origins, called us all apostate. Our religions are utterly incompatible, and thank God that is so.
"There is no controlling legal authority that says this was in violation of law." - Al Gore. Which organization on earth certifies you as Christian? Is it a simple appeal to authority or popularity?
Remember that the Christian expectation is apostasy. At no time in the Bible was God's truth in the majority. Apostasy from God's truths was and is the steady state of the world.
I've demonstrated this beyond a reasonable doubt. Do you recall the how the Pharisees ignored Christ's teachings and later the Apostles? That's apostasy. The reason God had to constantly send prophets was apostasy.
Study what I originally said. You'll understand the need for authority, God always grants it, and a formal priesthood leadership. Think about where you'd deliver Peter's letters or Paul's for that matter. To who would you give them to or speak them to?
Take your time. I understand that this is outside your current paradigm.
Finally, ad hominem means to the man. Your comment about laughing at me is to the man. It is not a logical or thoughtful refutation, but a weak appeal to the crowd. Christians look to God for validation, not men.
