I heard it said once of baseball that everyone finds a level at which they can no longer compete. Little league, jr varsity, varsity, college / A, AA, AAA...almost everyone washes out before making it to MLB.
In fact, there are only 750 major league players at any given time (before September). Out of 300,000,000 people in the US - and not counting Dominican, Mexican, Japanese players hoping to play in MLB - only about 1,000 make it throughout a year. 1/300,000 or .0000003% chance
It’s similar in the NFL. Eventually, they find a level at which they cannot compete.
These kids just found theirs. Hopefully they learn the life lesson:
1) Play because you like it or
2)_ Find something else to do because your days playing with competitive advancement are over.
I say, if you want to play professional sports, play soccer, there are thousands of professional teams scattered all over the globe.
