Thank you for the prayer, just wanted to let you know it’s a young lady. My daughter, and she’s disabled and uses a wheelchair.

She use to post threads in the canteen as a youth guest host. Her brother has an account too for the same reason, he’s been a freeper since he was 6

I just had the Adult Protective Services here to talk to me. She is going to call me later to see what they can do to help. Though in the mean time my roommates all decided they would come outside with me to hear what I was saying to they lady, so couldn’t tell her everything that’s going on because of them... Don’t need to get hurt while I’m trying to get help... Please keep praying that I find the help I need. Thank you all and God Bless.
If you’re under the impression that the roommate who signed the lease can ignore Georgia law, rest assured, she can’t. She is obligated by law to follow landlord-tenant laws. She is the landlord and your daughter is tenant at will.
You should have told this person you needed to speak privately! They would have made sure you had that opportunity. They probably would have put you in their car and took you for a ride or out for a soda. You need to use your head!! When she calls back, tell her there is more and you really need to speak privately.

Isn’t your landlord your boyfriend? Are you saying he would allow your wheelchair bound daughter to live under a bridge instead of taking her back into your home?
We were dating, before...but not anymore. And yes, he feels that since she moved out on her own will, she is out as an adult and not welcome back. If I go against that, Cody and I will be out too
I’m sorry you are in such a bad situation but honestly Tracy, if he is so heartless as to allow her to be homeless do you really respect him enough to stay in that situation? That is just unheard of - your story is that she was duped so why is he punishing her for that?
I don’t have any other option or me and Cody will be out too. He feels she had the choice, he wasn’t forcing her out but she chose to go with the “friend”, and in his opinion, that means she has made the choice to be an adult and has to face the consequences of that choice. If it were up to me, and it was MY home, I would let her come back, but I haven’t been able to pay rent for 4 years now, and so I don’t have a voice in this. I cry over this, every day...because I’m worried about her. But I can’t do any good for anyone if me and cody are on the streets too :(
You have a child under the age of 18 living with you so you should be able to qualify for government assistance - Again, your freeper boyfriend, or former boyfriend, ought to have more compassion for your daughter since, as you say, she was lied to. How can any honorable man allow her to live on the streets when she is in such bad physical condition? This is a disgusting situation he is putting your daughter into Tracy. I don’t know how you can even look him in the eye if he allows this to happen to your child.

I’ve contacted some churches in Rincon - one of them being where relatives of a friend go.
I’m waiting for them to get back in touch and will let you know if any of them can offer assistance.

The only update at this time is, the adult protective services visited her based on a church referral. They determined there was nothing they could do to help her with somewhere to stay except to refer her to the shelters in the city. The shelters are full and they are for night time only, which leaves a wheelchair bound young lady on the streets of the city during the day, 1 meal a day in the morning before leaving the shelter. The house mates found out she was going to be able to raise the $300 she would need to stay the month, and they changed their minds (or whatever they changed, I guess it would be hearts as they seem to have hardened their hearts towards her) and said it doesn’t matter if she gets the money, she was still going to be OUT on the first. Then yesterday, they tried to force her to go to a motel. I told her NO...she had at least 2 more days, and if they wanted to play hardball, she could force them to back off for another month as Georgia law says they have to give her 60 days, not 30 (found that out, thanks to a Georgian freeper...thank you Heart of Georgia!)
She is trying to find somewhere that will let her pay the $300 for a month, hopefully closer to town so she can try to find a job that will accomodate her in the chair!

She got the money! That’s great news.
Best option would be to search for another roommate situation. I know that’s not appealing, considering what she’s been through, but I don’t know any other way to stretch a low budget.
They tried to kick me out illegally. I found out today that I am safe unless they take it to a judge and pay $95 to evict me... They have no money to do so, so I have another 30 days because they have decided to move out and not take me with them. So I am safe for another 30 days... Thank you everyone for your prayer and please keep them up that I can find a place to go within the 30 days. God Bless you all and thank you so much!!!!
Those are some roommates, aren’t they!! Hope they move out soon, so that their tormenting will finally stop, and you can have some peace. Keep looking at the different havens in these next 30 days. Lots of prayers out there in your favor .
