A French bank apologized after posting a photo on Facebook of a squirrel caught hanging upside down by his testicles on a bird feeder. Caisse d'Epargne shared the photo on Facebook as part of a marketing campaign for a line of insurance. The photo was accompanied by a slogan, "Because accidents don't just happen to others, insurance will also cover you for any temporary injuries."
TheLocal.fr said Friday many of the bank's 24,000 Facebook followers thought the account had been hacked. When the bank realized followers' reaction they apologized and took down the photo.
"We wanted to make use of the social networks but we made a mistake. It was a communication error. We've hurt Facebook followers and potential customers and we regret it," the bank said.
I do respect my elders, my youngers, and my peers. As long as they love America and embrace what made her great. I put you in the my peers group which means I respect you, but seven years doesn’t fit elders in my world. Add thirteen years to the seven and you would be on the edge of elders, whom I also respect.
This is one thing most repub senators and congressmen don’t have to worry about happening to them - they’d slide right on through.
Give me a break! I can’t age any faster than I’m going right now.
I do love America and what made Her great. We have a long row to hoe before She will
see her former Shining City on a Hill status again. It’s going to be a lot of work, turmoil,
suffering, and watering the Tree of Liberty.
Trusting in God’s Grace and Mercy, I believe that we will put Her to rights again one day.
Amen.
