I'm glad they finally introduced disease(other than zombie-itis) as an factor.
It adds another dimension of reality in this series.
In the real world,the collapse of the sanitation system and lack of potable water and having just (regular) dead bodies lying about would have diseases like Typhoid fever, yellow fever, etc, etc. spread like wildfire.
The walkers are pus filled walking incubators and coming into contact with them, like exploding their brains with an axe, would send billions of bacteria into the air...
Love this show...
