Snopes is not confirming or denying but on the face of it, this is most likely a prank.

The idea that four old ladies would be severely beat up a man after a fender bender just does not ring true. Then the prankster overdid it with the account of the one old lady beating the man over the head with her Bible. That was when the prank "jumped the shark" in my opinion.
