A MEMBER of the family of the first Arab honoured by Israel for risking his life to save Jews during the Holocaust says the family isn't interested in the recognition. The Egyptian doctor Mohamed Helmy was honoured posthumously last month by Israel's Holocaust memorial for hiding Jews in Berlin during the Nazis' genocide, but a family member tracked down by The Associated Press this week in Cairo said her relatives wouldn't accept the award, one of Israel's most prestigious.

Probably true but we are always willing to accept the Muslim-Arab world's excuses for abominable behavior. In the West we say, “oh ,well, that is for domestic consumption” or, “you have to understand where they are coming from”, or even excuses for Arafart’s terror against Israel: “Well, he is between a rock and a hard place”.

Enough is enough, I am not letting these people off the hook anymore. They are accountable for everything they say and do. It always leads to violent language and then physical violence.

The family is between a rock and a hard place. Refuse it and seem ungracious, or accept it and be labeled an apostate and become a target of Muslim retribution.

They may be between a rock and a hard place but it speaks loads about Arab-Muslim education throughout the entire world regarding Israel.

They always say they revere the Jews and the Prophets but will kill an Israeli given half a chance. Very balanced.

So, when/if Israel signs Peace agreements, with whom are they signing? A government or people? Is it supposed peace between nations or a volatile peace between a despotic ruler who may be overthrown soon? How stable is that? How reliable a peace?

Peer pressure kills, in the Arab world.

I can understand that. We may view the Doctor as heroic, my guess Islamists in Egypt would consider him a traitor. An honor for saving Jewish lives, unheard of. Even the rocks and trees want to kill Jews.
