You might not. I will. A man has to eat. And smoke. Tobacco don't grow itself.

I can multi-task while using local resources that become available for composting.

Sep unemployment 180,000? I’ll bet it comes in around 160,000. If those numbers were good Obama would of released them shutdown or not.

I can tell you that my business pretty much dried up after Oct 2008. I don't get a check from the government, or anybody else.

I own my property, as long as I pay the shakedown racket mob their taxes every January.

I eat a lot of game. I eat a lot of what I can grow locally.

Sometimes utilities get shut down. I barter for internet access.

I don't have to pay federal taxes because I don't make enough.

Upside is that I don't feed the beast.

When I feel bad, I think about the poor bastard that got evacuated from Hiroshima to Nagasaki, and I count my blessings.

Fair enough. You are hard working, and you need prayers, just like the rest of us do right now.

Dear Lord Jesus, I life up my brother/sister JRandomFreeper, who struggles through life in these hard times, and I ask you Lord, to be with him and his family. Show him that your words are true:

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Matthew 11: 28-30

And I'm a veteran. 1980-1984 Active duty USAF (Old Crow kind of stuff). 1984-1986, inactive. After 9/11, and an 18 year gap in service, I re-enlisted. Because of waivers required for hearing and color blindness (I made them pull the original waiver on color-blind) I held up my hand and re-enlisted in Jan 2002.

I had both of my kids and their spouses in the military at the same time. I couldn't stay home.

I did my bit, with over 2 years deployed, and in 2008, left that game for the young men.

So I did my bit for the country, but not 20 active, so I'll not get any check for that, even if it did cost me a marriage.

I'll stick with what is right, and not whine and gripe. I am where I am. I have what I have. I'll do what's in front of me to do.

The results are in His Hands. Not mine.

I thank you for the prayers, but I prefer Psalms 144:1. Blessed be the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight

I'm nowhere near done.

Our message has to be short clear in it's common logic, and less than 30 seconds..

Kind of like;

WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU OWE MORE MONEY THAN YOU MAKE?

YOUR FAMILY ANSWER;

YOU CUT BANK SPENDING, AND GET A SECOND JOB, OR SEND YOUR WIFE TO WORK.. YOU DON'T GET ANOTHER LOAN, OR PRINTING MORE MONEY..IT'S ILLEGAL, AND A STUPID IDEA..

THE GOVERNMENT ANSWER;

PRINT MORE MONEY.. BUT IT MAKES ALL THE PRICES GO UP BECAUSE THE MONEY IS WORTH LESS!

THE GOVERNMENT NEVER STOPS SPENDING, IT KEEPS SPENDING!

I have a friend from Florida who tells me he can’t find .22 rounds for target practice.

Dollar took a big dump against the Colombian peso. Middle class Colombians fly up to S Florida for shopping and are buying second homes in S Florida like crazy. For them shopping and real estate are dirt cheap.

But they do have concerns about crime and safety.

Here’s a math quiz: If the value of the Euro in Dollars is twice the value of the Dollar in Euros, what’s the value of the Euro in Dollars?

I made this up some time ago, when the solution was very nearly the reality. The answer is the value of the Euro in Dollars equals the square root of two, or approximately 1.414 . Well, right now the Euro is 1.3686 Dollars, and down on the day! So chill!

Excellent advice. IN the last several years, all my disposable income has gone into this. Security for the home. Whole house generators. Reloading equipment, even a furnace and molds though I don’t intend to cast. Just in case.

Stock up while you can. This may even mean buying ammo in calibers you do not own so you can barter later. Buy what you can while you can.

They don't have to worry about the U. S. economy. Thanks to the parasites and Socialists, it is destroyed. The economy that is currently being artificially being propped up by the Government may be around for a little longer, but eventually it is collapsing. Why? Because it violates the law of economics. It is like giving yourself transfusions of your own blood, eventually the blood supply ends.

They may have other things to worry about, but the future of the U.S. economy is not one of them. It is destroyed by self inflicted wounds.
