I would assume micky’s hamburger’s come frozen. So he’s suggesting they “defrosted” it an served it?

What’s wrong with Steak Tartare? May would pay large sums for such a dish in fancy restaurants.

Given their current production procedures, there’s no way this wasn’t deliberate.

Must not have been all that bad.
It took him FOUR bites to figure something wrong.
As ‘terrible’ as he claims, should have noticed FOR SURE on 2nd bite.
Also, isn’t everything basically frozen and microwaved?
If true, I would be more ‘worried’ that the mess wasn’t meat, rather than ‘raw hamburger’.
I remember when my mother making meat loaf or such and getting the spatula uplongside the head for reaching in the bowl and eating the meat raw.
She wasn’t as much worried about eating the meat raw as she was having to put more ‘bread crumbs’(??) to make up for the lost volume - that loaf was going to be a certain size and be enough for all.
Wasn’t all that long ago I heard (or read) someone admit his job at the ‘char broiled HB fast food joints’ was to impress the grill marks on the finished product...

Yeah, but you’re supposed to get capers, raw onions, a raw egg, course seasalt and fresh pepper with it.

Growing up, I also remember my mother eating raw hamburger whenever she made meatballs or meatloaf... she’s still fit as a fiddle at seventy.

I would assume mickys hamburgers come frozen. From my recollection of working there several centuries ago, they're frozen rock-hard. You put it on the grill and start a timer, which has a beep code for turning it over and another for when it's ready to take off the grill. It's pretty hard to screw it up.

they are frozen patties. may have nuked it a little or put on grill just long enough to thaw it to raw.

But years ago the ground beef was probably store ground from a piece of meat that was taken from one cow. The stuff they call "ground beef" now is mass-produced and has parts of many different cows in it. That's why the recalls are so widespread when they happen.
P.S. I used to love to eat ground beef too.

You’re right, but those are minor details. Anyway, we don’t know for sure that they weren’t in it.
