My point was, for most of his career he was very pro-gun. When the assault weapons ban came, he threw that away.
We're both right! :-)

The socialist/govt. partnership guarantees the profits— so that is the “venture” (with large quotes around the word in utter disgust... yeah, real risk takers).
And really, when one looks at it, it applies to arms manufacturers and any and all “vendors” to the govt.
Fact is regarding obamaumaucare, it was big pharma among the greedy players whose “business plan” is to be in bed with the feds to massage the regs and be vendors of choice— the only choice. So they went this typical euro-socialist way. Managing their risk by buying politicians and laying off the cost on... the taxpayers. It is also JUST like TARP and HARP and all the other names of supposedly private business coming to feed at our tax trough.
Copying Great Britain- or Canada- brilliant, just ask those folks how they like NHS and going to Dr. Bombay or Chief Arulu for their care.

I take no glee in Foley's death. I moved to Eastern Washington just in time to be one of the votes that removed Foley from office. I remember putting a "De-Foley-ate Washington" bumpersticker on my car. I considered him a political enemy but not a personal enemy.
In terms of personal vileness, I don't see him in the same league as Nancy Pelosi.

(Enough with politicians, this conservative is only voting for someone with courage and conviction.)
