I recently upgraded my computers from XP to Win8 and then to Win8.1 and have to confess that I like it quite a bit. It certainly is speedier, has a fresher look and makes finding things easier. I highly recommend the Start8 third-party addon, $5, which makes the desktop experience just like XP.
How do I get the Start8 add on? I have a new laptop with Win 8 and I can’t even describe how much I hate it!! I am using my Kindle Fire now mostly because I get too frustrated with the program. I used 3.1, Windows 98, then XP, Windows 7, and had no problems until this nightmare!! I am 76, Very limited income, and totally frustrated with this system.
I need to change my tag line because I am feeling pretty defeated right now!
