The part I loved was you could drive it like a sprint car in the snow in 2WD and then switch to 4WD after you slid off in the ditch to get back going.
It’s the only vehicle I’ve ever owned that drives better off road and in the snow than it does on dry pavement. On mine the A/C keeps crapping out, that’s starting to drive me nuts (I’m starting to show my age). Funny thing is I find myself looking for another one every once and a while.
And FWIW, this is the second Jeep I’ve owned. It’s like a luxury SUV compared to my ‘46’ Willys CJ2A. That thing was a beast. My family bought it in 1966 for $150 with about 150,000 miles on it. The frame finally rotted out under the battery from acid dripping on it in about 1984. Sold it to my cousins husband who was a mechanic with over 300k. I don’t know what happened from there, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was still on the road.
