Dammit Jim, I’m a physicist, not a parliamentarian. It is possible, as some have claimed, that Sen. Cruz made some sort of tactical mistake. But if so, it should have been handled privately. I have had it up to my keister with Republicans grandstanding by attacking their own.
The fleet Commodores are annoyed as that potentially puts their well honed tactics at risk and shows those in their wind wakes that there are other tactics to use to get to clear air.
If the Cruz Armada attracts more independent thinking and more Cruz ships are launched to join the fray, the Commodores may have to eventually have to tack to cover the fleet renegades, thus all sailing in a new direction.
